I’ve just been offered a fantastic modelling job for lingerie (at 35!) but will the kids mind?

I applied for this job without looking into it too much, because it would be a great confidence boost and who wouldn’t want the money?
But I got a phone call today saying that I’d got the job, only I wonder if the kids will mind. I mean, it’s lingerie, so would they be too embarassed to have their mum model it?
What do you think? Because if so, I’ll ring them back and decline.

nah, go for it. just be prepared to have all your son’s friends gawping at you everytime you go past them.

Your kids would be happy but on the other hand, they may have reasons to stay. They have school and friends. You didn’t say how old your kids are but if one of them is in their early teens and in a relationship, he or she would not want to leave his or her girlfriend. They also maybe sad to leave the home they are growing up in as they are fond memories they have being in your home.

You have in the first place not disclosed whether you were in this line earlier. If yes, then go ahead, it’s your career/life. If this is the first time you are modelling please consult any of your friends/relations about the nature of the job and whether it suits you. If you are convinced that it is a job worth doing then confide in your family members expecially your hubby and try convincing them, more importqantly convince him. After all you can contribute some extra earnings for you and your family.

how old are they? I guess yous hould talk to them and explain what you will do. But it is just like any other job really so I don’t even think you need to justify yourself to anyone.
And I don’t think you should decline anything on the account of your kids even if they may feel uncomfortable.
It is your life, it is a respectable job and wow, you must be looking hot for 35!

Seriously, you NEED to take those photos because you will regret if you didn’t do it at 40.
I’ve done lots of photography and most people **** their pics. Then I put it into context. I tell the subject — think of pictures of you from 10 years ago. Don’t they seem more attractive now that you’re older? Think of yourself 10 years from now — those pics you take today will look especially super to you then. Do it!
