What should I do to help out people in need over the holiday season?

I want to do something with my friends over the holidays to help out the community. I want to get money donations, toys, canned foods and etc. I need some ideas on other things I could do so it will be something fun for over the holidays. Hope your able to help me out, Any ideas are fantastic, Have safe and Happy Holidays!!!

well i hope i can give u some good ideas on what u can do, first i think u could do a drive for the soldiers over seas like maybe get things they need and put them in a shoe box for example sanitary wipes,toothpaste or whatever u think they would need and put an encouraging note and mail to them, u could also bake some cookies or make t-shirts to sell so u can pay for the fees to mail these items.u could also do a drive for homeless people like get people to donate tents and clothes maybe other basic needs items and take these items to ur loca homeless shelter or red cross, anyhow i hope these give u some ideas and good luck i hope you a re having a blessed day. u a re doing a great thing.

Why not call your church pastor or priest and ask where you can help. They always know of programs going on that you and your friends could get involved with. Another option would be to call the Red Cross and adopt a family or, if you have Salvation Army near you, they often have Angel trees where you can buy clothing and gifts for individual children or whole families.
Its the very best way there is to celebrate Christmas.
