Where do you get your hair cut/done?

I’ve had bad experiences at several ‘discount’ hair salons. For instance, a lady at Fantastic Sams doesn’t seem to understand how to layer hair, and it came out uneven and choppy. After a few other let-downs I starting doing my hair myself, or I go into a local Aveda salon when I have the money (the lady I see is around $40 just for a trim) but they do a fantastic job. So, where do you get your hair done?

I go to my friends salon. I would rather pay $30 for a restyle every two-three months then risk my hair in my own hands

@ my family’s salon for free and honestly, i like it better then toni and guy, NOT because we’re related or anything, but yeah.. anyways, i would pay more for better results if i had to.
