Are Saladmaster pots & pans the best? If not, then whose are?

Posted by admin under: Cooking & Recipes .

I bought this Saladmaster set about 10 years ago, and they are the most fantastic set of pots and pans. I don’t think we’ll ever have to buy another pot/pan again in our lifetime. I think we got like a 6 pot set with electric frying pan; came out to $1200 which really is alot of money for pots/pans but I have to admit, they’re incredible. I just want to find out from a professional, how they stack up against all the retail brands you see at Macy’s etc.
Hey Chef Tony! (my name’s tony 2, I immediately recognized the ynot) If you look for Saladmaster on eBAY, even used, single pots go for over $100.. strange because you never see them in any stores. Only door 2 door sales. But these pots are incredible.

Ive never heard of the Saladmaster brand. All-clad is definitely a top brand. However, in a professional kitchen, they dont use these top retail brands. They are too expensive. Like you said it was $1200 for 6 pans. Even in a small operation you would find around 50 pans, so imagine the amount of capital locked up in just those pans. Its too much.

I’m not a professsional but I’ve had my Salardmaster pots and pans since 1966 and they have stood up to the test of time and I still use them everyday. Yes they are expensive but they are well worth the investment. I think they beat anyother brand of pots & pans. They got my vote.
