How can we make some money off of the hysteria surrounding AGW?

Greenpeace now receives $500 M/year in funding from various sources. This money is used mostly to aid Green Peace in becoming a pain in the (_@_) for the average worker in the developed world. There is tons of money here to be made over this hysteria. How can we get our share?

Greenpeace is a non-profit. That means they are not getting rich.
And how exactly do they affect the lives of “average workers”? I have never in my life heard of a single person complaining that greenpeace was making their work day tougher. But then again, I do not know any Japanese whalers. If you consider whaling to be an “average” job, then *your* job must be pretty darn exciting.

Good points. Green Peace is essentially an organization which is comprised of high priced lawyers. So, one way to make money is to become a lawyer. Also marketing. Billions are being spent to promote the AGW argument. Like any advertisement, the truth of what is said means very little. It’ll grow hair, make you thinner and reduce your carbon foot print! Invest in Chinese, Indian and Mexican manufacturing companies. These countries will all benefit immensely from passage of a cap and trade bill in the U.S.A. Invest in coal companies! What? Even with Cap and Trade, US coal will still be the cheapest BTU in the world. In particular invest in coal companies that mine coal in Montana and Wyoming. Right now this western coal costs only $0.76 per million BTUs. Even if the price of that coal went up by 50% as a result of carbon taxes, the cost per million BTUs would be less than half that of Natural Gas.

I made a killing in Vestas wind turbines; a German company. Also a few of the solar stocks. GE is real cheap now and should be coming back soon- they make plenty of energy saving/efficiency/generating devices.
