How much money do you think the average family brings to spend at Disneyland?

I don’t know—and we leave for Disneyland next Sunday!
I haven’t been there since the late 70’s, and am sure we’ll be shocked at the cost of everything.
Hope you get some good answers, ‘cos I could use them, too!

LOTS!!! Iwas there a couple of years ago; couldn’t believe the prices! Small bottle of water-$4.00….Hot dog-$6.00. Get organized and take your own beverages, lunches, etc. Then, go to the “Flea Markets” and buy your souveniers(brand new)–1/4 the price.

50$-100$ a person is your best bet. for not so picky-greedy people you can get away with 35$

It will be expensive, but right now unfortunately everything is. Food in the park has a good-size mark-up from similar food outside, so a hamburger and fries would cost you approx. $6 (you can go from there).
Souvenirs, depending on what you want, range from around $4 to, well, collector range (there’s a reason Disneyana is one of the most popular stores on Main St.)
All the activities inside the parks are free with admission.
I would definitely suggest you bring your own bottles of water and snacks. The baggage search before you get in the park will not prevent you from bringing in these items. There are also a several places to eat outside of DL (in Downtown D and the surrounding area) that are cheaper. And if you are staying at a nearby hotel, make sure it has a refrigerator, so you can keep your water and perishables cold.
