How do I make a web address in an email message a hyperlink that will direct the user straight to the wesbite?

I am trying to do that, but it is not working. When I click on the hyperlink, it doesn’t do anything.

What you need to do is type the entire address including the
once all of that is there then the people will be able to click on the link and go directly to the website.

It’s been my experience that whenever I type out the complete link, including the., that it always shows up as a link for the recipient of the email.

1. make sure you’re composing the message in Rich Text format (it has to say “Plain Text” next to the Subject text field; if it says “Rich Text”, click on the text to go to Rich Text Mode)
2. compose your message
3. select the text you want to turn into a hyperlink
4. click the “Create Hyperlink” button in the toolbar (it looks like a globe with a chain)
5. In the pop up that appears, type in the URL of the website you want to link to and click “OK”
6. the link won’t work until you send the mail
