It is not enough to be able to speak Chinese, at least not in China. There are already a billion people who can do that. You need to bring another skill to the table such as engineering or chemistry and then parlay the two skills into a job.
Once you have have this other skill, then you can do research to find what types of jobs and salary to expect.
In addition, a few years are NOT sufficient to become fluent in Chinese, even if you never speak another word of any other language in the whole time.

Surely you can get a job as English teacher.

In order to get a work permit in China, the company that wants to hire you, has to show the government that you have certain skills that a local Chinese do not have.
Being an English Teacher is a sure job. As long as you have a foreign face (not Chinese or Chinese-looking). You will probably need a TEFL or TESOL certificate. But not always.
For an English Teacher, how much you make depends on the quality of school, if you have the qualifications, and city. Typically, you can expect 4,000 RMB to 10,000 RMB.

if your knowledge is proved by HSK and you are good at communication, you can be a business interpreter, a company representative and the like…
if it’s “trust me” knowledge — it’s pretty useless in fact…
well, it can be a “tour guide” or a “white monkey” on the local TV but nothing more…
you make as much money as you cost…
