saving direct from email to my yahoo?
Posted by admin under: Attachments & Photos .
when a file or photo was attached to a yahoo message, there used to be a link next to it save to my yahoo (photos or file). where has this link gone? All I can find now is a link to scan and save to this computer.

so are you saying I have to scan the file then save it on to the computer Im using before I can then upload it to my yahoo or flixr (however this may or may not work for non photo files) or whatever?
Seems like an awfully long and slow process compared to clicking on a link to automatically save the file to my yahoo…

PhotoMail is no longer a feature of Yahoo! Mail.
The reason is that yahoo is transitioning to its new global photosharing service, Flickr. Part of this transition includes gradually closing Yahoo! Photos and removing PhotoMail from Yahoo! Mail.
You can still attach photos to your emails anytime you’d like! Even better, you might now consider sending emails with a simple, one-click link to an online gallery. It’s super easy – easy for you, and easy for anyone you’d like to view your photos.
Flickr is at, where you can upload and flexibly manage your photo collection. And while you’re there, you can connect with other people who love photos, share your passions in interesting photography groups, and learn new things by looking at other people’s pictures from around the world.
