What is the best drumming book?

I got a drum set a few weeks ago, it was a great deal…It’s a Pearl and its in pretty good condition, i got it from my friend for $100. Only problem is I don’t know how to play drums and I’m dying to learn. I don’t have the money to pay for a private teacher so I’m looking to find a book (if you can point out more than one it’ll be fantastic) that will teach me technique, practices, and even some beginner/moderate rock drumming. Your help will be appreciated.

I dont think you should go with a book. To me they are a waste of money. They teach you skills you can easily find online or learn yourself by practicing. If you have friends, ask them to teach you. Or learn how to read drum tablature online and just practice practice practice. If possible save up your money and get private lessons and if not do it by yourself and the internet. I have been playing the guitar for ma few years now and everything Ive learned has been self taught and I have my own unique style from that.
All you need is a will to learn, not a book to tell you what to do.
