Do american get themselves involved in stuff they should not?

Did we really need to qet involved in the world wars, and vietnam? do we qo to war just because we want to control other countries and get money out of it?
please no sarcastic answers. im writinq a report and want to have my facts straiqht.

Yes. Although you may want to check the world wars example, especially WWII, because I definitely think that we needed to help fight against ****** and the atrocities he was commiting (then, I think it was helping people who needed it, and not butting in). It’s a difference between the help people need and the ‘help’ people could do without.
Take a look at our current war situation though, and what may have motivated it (there are some interesting Times magazine articles, if you can find them on the internet~ they may help with research). The logic behind vietnam was something called the ‘domino effect.’ You’ll have to use your judgement on whether or not you think this sort of ‘helping’ is actually helping or just protecting our interests.

Of course we do. (Although I will say it’s not just Americans).
We tend to make decisions without thinking through all of the consequences. We speak or act without contemplating on what the outcomes will be and if someone else will be helped or hindered in the process. A good majority of people throughout time have been very selfish and have thought only of their own (or their own religion’s or nationality’s) agendas and have given no regard to the other side’s viewpoints. A good majority of people have also lost respect for everyone else and don’t even bother to give it anymore, even to family or newly introduced person. Most people just want to do what they need to do in order to survive and not have to worry about anyone else and when someone steps in their way, things are not always pretty. It’s unfortunate but some of our biggest world upsets have started because of one little argument or disagreement.
War is one of those things that has its good and bad points. Clearly, it is bad because people die and often, nothing is solved and the death rates get higher and the armies get more brutal. But the good is that, eventually, someone will lose or back down and answers and solutions ae found.
As far as examples, this is your report. You need to find those. You should have already gone over some things in the class this is for that you can use. Try looking those things up online and see if the internet can find you ‘matches.’
