How do you make money at home?

I’m a stay at home mom. I’d like to make money while I’m at home. I’ve looked into things but most places want you to pay sooo much money getting things or they’re all scams to get your money. Please help me out here!! Thanks

They key to this is cost of labor.
What can you provide that is cheaper (because of labor costs) than other alternative. This applies to everything. Even an online storefront is based upon the fact that you supply something for less or at least the consumer thinks so. Why pay retail for something you can get on ebay. Your angle is the time you put in to acquire that product and ship it in small quantities costs too much to other options. You don’t see large quantities of things being sold on ebay its millions of one of a kind. Again it is regardless of product, doing Avon or Pampered Chef or Tupperware is because those companies will end up paying you less then they would to run their own store.
This doesn’t mean don’t do it. Even if it ends up that you’re technically only making $3 an hour if you 100% control those hours and it’s not hard work than that’s $3 more than you had.

If you’re looking for a home business you have to expect to pay something up front because you are essentially buying a business.
I’m not sure what you mean by “they’re all scams to get your money”. Things like surveys, secret shoppers, envelope stuffers, etc., those are scams to get your money. I have yet to see one of those programs work enough to pay even 1 bill, let alone make a living.
Home business is a different matter entirely. You have to do some research into what type of business you would like to be involved in. There are so many out there in so many different fields so you have to narrow down your search. A few examples are health and wellness, skin care/products, jewelry, finances, etc.
Once you’ve chosen an area of interest, start looking at the companies that are in that line. eg. skin care = Avon, Mary Kay, Arbonne, etc.
Then you have to decide how you want to do business. Are you interested in party plan or one on one sales? Do you want to work with people face to face or would you rather just work online.
Once you narrow down your thoughts, it’s far easier to choose a company to get involved with. Because you have an interest in what you are doing, you should see a return on your investment very quickly.
