Purchased an item on my debit card from a well known store 9 days ago and the money still hasn’t left my acct?

I purchased some goods from a well known store – paid for them on a DEBIT card (not credit card) the money usually leaves your account straight away? Yet it has been 9 days and the money isn’t even pending or anything. It’s still there available in my account to spend?
My partner thinks that maybe the store hasn’t done it’s transactions yet? But it’s a well known shop not a corner shop so i assumed it automatically goes through.
I have purchased stuff from this store before and the money left my account straight away.
Anyone that could chuck some experience or knowledge this way would be fantastic! x

Sometimes it due to human error and that they didn’t successful complete the transaction.
Why don’t you go back to the store to pay them back in cash and tell them what had happened? That way you did the right thing and that you inform the store to make sure the transaction is went through successful so they don’t lose money.
