Is there any way that you can automatically direct a certain email address to a folder on your y-mail?

It there any way, for instance, that you can direct “adsfjkl;@yahoo.com” to folder “X” automatically in your yahoo mail? Just as a mail considered “spam” is automatically sent to the spam folder, can you direct certain email addresses to go to a specific/designated folder in your mail?

Yes.
You would have to set up a personal “Filter”, to re-direct incoming mail (from a designated address), to a separate folder, instead of the inbox.
Mail page>>options (top right)>>mail options.
On the left, click on “Filters”—and click “add”.
It’s pretty much self explanatory, but basically—-you enter (on the from header blank), the “exact” address you want to re-direct—-choose a folder (or make a new one here)—-then click “add filter”.
This tutorial should answer any questions you have about working with filters.
