Frustrated – working on master’s and making NO money?
Posted by admin under: Financial Services .
I’m currently working on my master’s which I should be done with in about a year; the problem is, I have no money right now, since I paid for tuition out of pocket, and I can’t work if I want to have good grades due to all of the time I need for studying (I’m going to work part time, but I don’t think $8 an hour is going to make much of a difference in the long term at 15 hrs a week). None of the internships at my school are paid.
Aside from taking up stripping (which I definately could, but I don’t think I would be happy with myself, especially since I live in a predominantly blue collar area *shudder* and I have a boyfriend), how can I make decent money working part time until I graduate?
Is it even possible?

You could try this site for some work at home ideas…
Or, do you have things you could sell on EBay?

Ask around local business’s for any job opening related to your masters. This will give you work experience, maintain your dignity, and get you a pretty steady paycheck. It might not pay a lot, but it’s deffinitely worth a shot.

There is start up kit for $100 for which you get all the supplies you need to do 30 facials, training business materials etc. over 300 in full size products. Inventory is optional don’t let anyone tell you it’s not. You can use the starter kit to demo and take orders. you make 50% of what your sell.

eBay works for me. You can work flexible hours, as it works for your schedule.
I am an eBay Silver Level Powerseller and have sold 12,000 items on ebay. My monthly profit averages $3500. The more you work, the more you make.
This is an excellent learning resource if you are new to eBay selling
Best of luck to you!
