How can I convince my mom to let me go to Los Angeles?
Posted by admin under: Family .
On June 25, there’s going to be a movie screening in LA that is for one night only. It is from Japan, the DVDs haven’t come out yet, and I have been wanting to see this in so long. There’s going to be special guests and merchandise in the theater too. I, obviously, really want to go.
Unfortunately, my mom is pretty strict. I’m still a teenager and we live way in the Northwestern part of the U.S. We’re short on money, and my mom hates the idea of me leaving our state unless my dad and my sister come along and it’s for vacation. She wouldn’t even let me go to Idaho for a convention. My grandpa’s also pretty strict, and he’d likely say no too. My dad seems to be the most likely person to take me, since he’s got money to burn and travels a lot. He comes over here during summer vacation to travel with my sister and me. Unfortunately, he’s planning on coming in late July, not June.
Despite these facts, I still really, really want to go to that movie screening. How can I convince everyone to let me go? Is there any way?

sorry north western part of U.S. you mean washington, oregon, northern california, i wouldnt go to L. A. to see a movie, they charge too much as it is, and really why go to L. A. lots of people are on drugs, and you may feel better spending your money somewhere else, maybe buying a dvd, or makeup, or clothes, drugs, or alcohol, *** drugs rock n roll.

See if your dad will give you the money to go with who ever your mom says is OK. Besides that I don’t see you going if money is a problem.
