Last year when the state dairy board wanted to close an unprofitable state-owned creamery, Palin replaced the entire board to keep it open. ultimately it couldn’t make money and closed anyway.

Or, how about – she’s under investigation for ethics violation for firing an individual for NOT firing her sister’s husband for putting her through a messy divorce and even messier child support battle.

I’d put her up against world leaders way before I would trust Obama up against any crisis facing this nation. Obama supporters are really skating on thin ice making disparing remarks about ANYBODY’s experience in this election. I would say that is the pot calling the kettle….er, black.

the state of alaska had just given it 600,000. Since the money was already spent, palin wanted to give it one last try to work. it didnt work, so they closed it down. Makes sense to me.

This was a horrible choice for McCain, but I’m so very happy he made it.

So your complaining because she tried to save workers jobs?
You didn’t mention her success with big oil but that would have muted your point.
So any pieces of legislation from Obama and the econmics?? Oh I forgot he’s never actually been in charge of anything

Her compassion for fighting for the people and taking the bull by the horns is what we need today in the whitehouse I have more confidience in her looking after the little people like me than Hillary or Obama put togetter

Well this just goes to show the American public just how senile John McCain is, when he picks some one with LITTLE or No experience
this is my own opinion

after a year or so, she seems to be able to run a state where the oil companies give money to every person in the state.
does that fit the model in your state?

Look a little closer. She has more executive experience than Obama and he is running for president. I would select her and her record of clean government over the inexperienced Obama any day. In fact I hope to vote for her as President 4 years from now to replace McCain. The Democrat may not want a woman in high office I guess they leave that to the Republicans.

Actually….Palin has more executive experience than either Obama OR Biden. Obama has ran nothing but a small inner-city organization, during which he displayed the bad judgment of consorting with the likes of Rezko, now convicted of corruption, bomber buddy Bill Ayres, and that ****** idiot of a preacher whose teachings took Obama 20 years to figure out…ahem…yeah, that’s the ticket.
Obama is supposed to be for “change” but I have not heard one person voting for him who can tell me exactly what he is changing and more importantly, HOW he is changing it. He picked Biden as his VP, and a more regular, Good Ole Boy Network member he could not have found. Every thing Obama says comes straight out of the 1960s Dem handbook. The only original thing he has going for him is his race. And worst of all, he is a socialist.
Obama had better enjoy his post-convention bounce, because after the Republican convention, which is now energized by McCain’s electrifying choice in Palin, it is doubtful the Obama camp will see this again.
Obama’s CHICKENS….are coming HOME….to ROOST.

Fact…she has more executive experience than Obama. I’d pick her as pres OVER McCain. Unfortunately she’s not running for pres.

Before you dismiss that Commander of the Alaska National Guard stuff. This came from a reader who plays the game and it jibes with my knowledge.
Alaska is the first line of defense in our missile interceptor defense system. The 49th Missile Defense Battalion of the Alaska National Guard is the unit that protects the entire nation from ballistic missile attacks. It’s on permanent active duty, unlike other Guard units.
As governor of Alaska, Palin is briefed on highly classified military issues, homeland security, and counterterrorism. Her exposure to classified material may rival even Biden’s.
She’s also the commander in chief of the Alaska State Defense Force (ASDF), a federally recognized militia incorporated into Homeland Security’s counterterrorism plans.
Palin is privy to military and intelligence secrets that are vital to the entire country’s defense. Given Alaska’s proximity to Russia, she may have security clearances we don’t even know about.
