What is better: a Gift card to a store , or money?

and the gift card ( if i choose to have ) would be 100.00 and if i choose money then i would have the same amount. and the store is limited too

money is much much better because if you give someone a gift card that means that the person you are giving it to HAS to use it at the store that the gift card was from…but if you give money then the person who you are giving it to can use it where ever they want
